About This Role

The Electronic Systems (ES) engineering team has an immediate opening for a mid‑senior level Systems Engineer to support the growing Simulation and Training Team. As a member of this team, you will work on engineering development projects to deliver on program commitments and release capabilities to military customers. The role requires a broad knowledge base in multiple engineering disciplines and the ability to execute in both R&D and production environments. Key assignments include requirements analysis, architecture design, systems integration, new product integration, and system test.

Responsibilities
  • Support full‑life cycle engineering design and development activities on ES programs.
  • Perform requirements analysis, systems modeling (SYSML), trade studies, requirements derivation, design review support, integration planning, test, verification, risk management, and engineering analysis.
  • Use technical acumen and problem‑solving skills to execute systems engineering tasks.
  • Execute reviews of engineering work products to ensure technically accurate and quality deliverables.
  • Generate subcontract statements of work and manage outside subcontractor performance.
  • Prepare and present systems engineering work products to internal review teams and at program milestone reviews.
  • Interact daily with program managers, planners, engineers, and technicians.
  • Travel in support of project execution and testing as required, up to 15%.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physical Science with 2 or more years of related experience (systems or test engineering) or Master’s Degree in Engineering with 1 or more year of related experience.
  • Experience with hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, or architecture design.
  • Experience with DOORS, JIRA, and MagicDraw (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a DoD environment and model‑based systems engineering is preferred.
  • Effective writing and presentation skills.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
  • Active Secret Clearance preferred; Secret eligibility required.
