Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense’s Systems Technologies Group seeks an Engineering Intern to work with imaging, control systems, and embedded software experts on next-gen sensing tech. The role emphasizes hands-on development, testing, and algorithm integration in a mission-driven environment.

The internship spans 2027, part-time during spring/fall, full-time in summer. Pay is $35/hr with flexibility for alternative schedules. Eligible U.S. citizens or export-control eligible individuals are required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering tasks across control systems, imaging, and embedded software.
• Support development and testing of algorithms and software tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers on real-world aerospace and defense projects.
