GE Vernova is seeking a Repairs Program Manager in the United States to lead wind-turbine repair programs, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with product teams to deliver field solutions that improve safety, quality and cost.

The role involves owner-ship of milestones, lifecycle documentation, and cross-functional collaboration across Sourcing, Systems Engineering, and Product Management to advance wind turbine technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Program Management, Renewable Energy Engineering or related fields.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, including international travel.

  • Ensure compliance to engineering processes to maintain high-quality outputs.
  • Drive continuous process improvement in repairs and contribute to design-for-serviceability.

Job Description Summary

The Repairs Program Manager is responsible for driving programs on the cutting edge of technology in the market. The Repairs Mission Team works on developing solutions for field execution in line with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost Reduction. Programs include developing crane-less solutions for Major Component replacements, developing new tools to enable technicians to perform work safer, and improving on existing processes to reduce the time a repair takes to execute in the field. While we increase availability for our customers we also work to make things better for our technicians maintaining the turbines in the fleet. The Repairs Mission Team works on highly complex problems with high business impact.


A successful Technical Program Manager is self-starting, independent, and demonstrates ownership over program milestones such as bill of material releases, development of product documentation for quoting and lifecycle management, validation of the product, and implementation of lessons learned into product improvements. They will work closely with Product Managers, Systems Engineers, Subsystem Program Managers, Sourcing, and Configuration Management to maintain a tightly interconnected team working towards the common goal of developing world-class wind turbines.

  • Coordinate deliverables, execution, and detailed schedules with Subsystem teams to elevate visibility to critical path activities.

  • Provide cross-functional product leadership, working across EHS, Sourcing, Quality, Services, and external parties to ensure that critical product development milestones are achieved.

  • Facilitate issue resolution with close connection to the product Systems Engineer and Product Manager, including development of contingency plans and scenario planning.

  • Provide regular cross-functional leadership updates along with escalation of programmatic and technical risks

  • Assures compliance to engineering processes to maintain a high quality standard of work outputs.

  • Drive continuous process improvement to the repairs process and providing input into overall engineering practices as it relates to design for serviceability

  • Ensure program outputs align with Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements

  • Receive and incorporate lessons learned from field personnel into next generation products


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university or similar

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management, Renewable Energy Engineering or related fields

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time. This may include international travel as well as travel to

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
