Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Program Manager for Wind Blade Repair Development Engineering to plan and execute repair development programs, improve blade repair processes, documentation, and field readiness. You will coordinate across Engineering, Services, Sourcing, and related functions to manage deliverables and align the program.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management within an engineering, manufacturing, operations, renewable energy, or related business.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of Wind Blade Repair Development Engineering programs and workstreams.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining integrated schedules, action trackers, and program priorities for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate deliverables and follow-up actions with engineering, services, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Support issue resolution by gathering information, tracking actions, and helping escape risks or blockers as needed.
  • Help maintain visibility to milestones, critical tasks, and open items.
  • Participate in shop trials and support coordination, documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Assist with repair development documentation, including work instructions, trial records, and lessons learned.
  • Support change management activities such as ECR/ECO preparation and routing, as needed.
  • Help coordinate repair BOM-related activities, including initial definition support and sourcing checks for suitability.
  • Support planning and execution of PFMEA and related process improvement activities, as assigned.
  • Partner with team members to capture technical data, photos, process observations, and supporting documentation.
  • Support program communications and operating rhythm, including meeting notes, status updates, and action closure.
  • Take on technical assignments or coordination tasks to help the team meet goals and deadlines.
  • Support handoff activities to Services or Procurement teams, as appropriate.

Job Description Summary

The Lead Program Manager for Wind Blade Repair Development Engineering supports the planning and execution of repair development programs that improve blade repair processes, documentation, and readiness for field and scale-up application. This role coordinates across Engineering, Services, Sourcing, and related functions to help manage deliverables, support technical issue resolution, and maintain program alignment.

The successful candidate will be self-starting and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, support technical program execution, and help drive structure in a hands‑on engineering environment. This role combines technical coordination, action management, and cross‑functional communication to support repair development activities and continuous improvement.

  • Working knowledge of PFMEA, process mapping, control plans, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hands‑on, team‑oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience with composite materials, wind blade repair, or manufacturing processes is preferred.

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,400.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
