Job summary

The Municipality of Anchorage Information Technology department seeks a Systems Technical Architect (Sr Systems Analyst) to lead design and implementation of complex enterprise systems on-site at City Hall, Anchorage.

Candidates should have strong experience with Microsoft SQL databases, AzureAD, Microsoft O365, NetApp storage, VMware vSphere/Horizon, F5 BigIP, and related networking and data-management platforms.

Qualifications

DEPARTMENT: Information Technology

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

LOCATION: City Hall - 632 W 6th Ave, 4th Floor

Must Possess And/or Obtain

• Satisfactory background check which includes criminal, education, and employment history at time of hire.
• Satisfactory Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background check within 30 days of hire.
• Valid State of Alaska Driver's License and satisfactory driving record at time of hire.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL databases, AzureAD, Microsoft O365, Network Appliance (NetApp), VMware vSphere and Horizon, F5 BigIP, Gigamon, VastData, and AD Manager Plus.

Preference

• Microsoft Certification in MCP, MCSA, or MCSE. NetApp Certified Storage Associate or higher. VMware VCA-DCV or higher.
