Job summary

Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, is hiring Sr. Firmware Engineer to research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software for semiconductor operations.

You will work on software for electronic device hardware and develop tools for design infra and platforms. Responsibilities include analyzing hardware compatibility, developing systems-level software, and applying engineering principles across OS, routers, and databases as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Two years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
• Post-silicon platforms; OS kernel & systems development; Memory management and multi-threading; Low-level device drivers; x86-64 architecture.
