Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced automotive systems engineer to develop and manage system and software requirements for automotive products and ECUs. You will ensure traceability, verification, and validation across programs, collaborating on change management and testing strategies.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with DOORS/Jama, strong modeling tool familiarity, and a 4+ year track record in automotive engineering in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of automotive systems engineering, requirements engineering, or validation experience.
• Experience developing and managing system and software requirements for automotive products, ECUs, controllers, or vehicle functions.
• Strong understanding of requirements traceability, verification, validation, and change management processes.
• Familiarity with UML, SysML, Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw, or related modeling tools.

• Hands-on experience with IBM DOORS, DOORS DNG, Jama, or comparable requirements management tools.
• Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, vehicle diagnostics, and automotive communication architectures.
• Experience supporting system integration testing, HIL/SIL validation, and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with UML, SysML, Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw, or related modeling tools.
