Optimal in Missouri is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to design, implement and validate vehicle electrical systems. The role covers reviewing device transmittals, developing vehicle-level schematics, defining fusing/grounding strategies, and supporting prototype/pre-production builds.
The candidate will perform system-level tests for ECU integration, flashing software/calibration files, and conducting functional tests to validate designs.
As a Systems Integration Engineer, the successful candidate will design, implement and validate vehicle electrical systems by reviewing and approving device transmittals, developing vehicle-level logical schematics, conducting design/compatibility reviews, defining fusing and grounding strategies, supporting system-level validation/diagnostics, providing technical support for prototype and pre-production builds. You will also perform System Level tests for ECU integration by flashing ECU software and calibration files, performing configuraiton, commanding and analyzing self-test results, and performing functional tests.
