Job summary

Teradyne, a global test and automation leader, seeks a Systems Quality Engineer to validate end-to-end system functionality across software and hardware in semiconductor test environments.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, and QE teams to implement automated test solutions, drive quality improvements, and contribute to CI/CD integration. This position is based in North Reading, MA, with onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Systems Validation.
• Experience with system-level, integration, and end-to-end testing of complex software and hardware.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, networking, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Programming or scripting experience (C#, C++, Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience in Agile environments using Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level test strategies, validation plans, test cases, and test procedures for complex software/hardware solutions.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test solutions to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Coordinate system-level, integration, and end-to-end testing; document results and drive issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot cross-domain issues across software, hardware, networking, and configurations with cross-functional teams.
• Improve quality engineering processes, automation frameworks, and test coverage for better product quality.
• Develop test automation solutions and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
