Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Systems Quality Engineer in North Reading, MA to validate complex software and hardware in semiconductor test and automation environments. You’ll lead end-to-end validation, develop automation, and work with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and release confidence.

The role emphasizes system-level testing, integration, and data-driven quality improvements, with mentoring responsibilities and collaboration across software, hardware, and QE teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as CS/CE/EE/SE.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, software testing, or systems validation.
• Experience with system-level, integration, and end-to-end testing of complex hardware/software.
• Familiar with CI/CD concepts and Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level test strategies, validation plans, and test procedures.
• Develop and maintain manual and automated test solutions.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing and document results.
• Troubleshoot issues across software, hardware, networking, and configurations.
• Improve QE processes, automation frameworks, and coverage.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across the team.
