Coconut is seeking a Systems Optimization & Automation Lead to design and optimize Airtable-based systems for our remote, US-focused team. You will manage databases, build interfaces, and create scalable automations that connect Make and Zapier with internal workflows.

You will champion AI-powered improvements, document processes, and train staff while advising on new tools to support growth at FundSource26's operations.

Role: Systems Optimization & Automation Lead

Monthly Rate: $900-1100

Availability: 20 hours/week

Experience Needed:

1. Airtable Database Management & OptimizationMaintain and manage existing Airtable bases, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and usability across the organization. Conduct regular audits, cleanup efforts, and system improvements to optimize performance and organization. Continuously improve table structures, relationships, views, permissions, and data architecture to support business needs.
2. Interface & Workflow DevelopmentDesign and build custom Airtable interfaces that support team workflows and operational objectives. Create intuitive user experiences for stakeholders across departments while developing scalable systems capable of supporting continued organizational growth.
3. Automation & IntegrationBuild, maintain, and optimize automations within Airtable and connected platforms such as Make and Zapier. Develop integrations with third-party applications using APIs and webhooks, ensuring reliable data flow and system functionality. Troubleshoot and improve existing automations to maximize efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
4. AI Integration & Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to leverage AI tools throughout the organization. Design and implement AI-powered workflows that reduce manual work, increase productivity, and improve consistency. Collaborate with leadership to evaluate emerging technologies and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
5. Systems Documentation & TrainingCreate, maintain, and update documentation for internal systems, workflows, and processes. Develop training materials and lead team training sessions to ensure effective adoption and ongoing use of company systems. Serve as a trusted resource for team members seeking guidance on workflows and technology.
6. Ongoing Systems Strategy & SupportAct as a strategic partner in the evolution of FundSource26's operational infrastructure. Recommend new tools, workflows, and system enhancements that support company goals. Ensure all systems are maintainable, scalable, and aligned with long-term organizational growth.
