Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- 8+ years of Service Management experience or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- ServiceNow detail knowledge, ITIL, ServiceDesk principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications
Desired Skills & Experience
- Prior experience and track record working on large scale, operationally intense operational transformation initiatives across a wide range of functions, including operations and technology
- Prior experience designing and operationalizing ITIL methodologies and reporting analytics with special attention to detail
- Strong understanding of agile and product management
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate results
- Develops an independent point of view and can lead through problem solving
- A BS/BA degree or higher
What You Will Be Doing
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Systems Operations Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Systems Operations Engineering deliverables.
- Review and analyze moderately complex Systems Operations Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Systems Operations Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client personnel in Systems Operations Engineering.
- Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or who are affected by its outcomes
- Identify Technology Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
- Lead Technology Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
- Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities
- Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with the company’s strategies or policies and business line objectives.
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Knowledge of the change planning process to ensure change initiatives are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure and create efficiency
- Knowledge of the change delivery process to ensure initiatives are delivered on-time, and with quality to achieve our desired customer and business outcomes
- Implement and facilitate measurement, reporting and portfolio management routines to drive transparency and visibility throughout the change lifecycle
- Ensure adherence to ECM and Cybersecurity change procedures, as well as any other appliable enterprise policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the short and long-term to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
