Our client, a leading organization in the technology and operations sector, is seeking a dedicated Enterprise SRE / DevOps Engineer -Systems Operations Engineer 4 to join their dynamic team. As an Enterprise SRE / DevOps Engineer -Systems Operations Engineer 4, you will be an integral part of the Systems Operations team supporting critical infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Charlotte, NC (300 Brevard or CIC)

What's the Job?

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Operations Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Systems Operations Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Design and implement automated tooling to eliminate manual toil and enhance operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
• Strong understanding of AutoSys, Python, Java/J2EE, REST APIs, microservices, and messaging technologies such as Kafka and MQ.
• Proficiency with Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab, and automation tools like Ansible.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK/Splunk, and AIOps platforms like Moogsoft and AI/ML frameworks.
