Job summary

Nightwing is seeking an experienced System/Network Engineer to support Kubernetes cluster configuration, network troubleshooting, and government platform integrations in the NCR or San Antonio region. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities include monitoring, automation of deployments via Infrastructure as Code, and contributing to security hardening and disaster recovery planning. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of system/network engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field or equivalent substitution.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and configurations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack).
• Understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Must be U.S. citizen.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($77,000-$163,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards. Nightwing offers medical, vision and dental insurance coverage in addition to a 401k plan, PTO, Holidays, and additional insurances.
