Job summary

VigorCare Pediatric Services is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain our computer systems and networks. The role focuses on uptime, security, and seamless integration of servers, routers, switches, and firewalls across our organization.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT, strong Windows and Linux skills, and hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V. Excellent problem-solving and collaboration abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining computer systems and networks.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and best practices.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain computer systems and networks for the organization
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and productivity
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels for all systems and applications
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and upgrades to improve system performance and security
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any system-related issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve our systems and processes
