OnTrac is hiring a Systems & Network Engineer!

OnTrac was founded in 1986 and has evolved into the leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S. for premier e-commerce and product-supply businesses, including five of the largest retailers in the U.S.

Location

Combination of REMOTE and ON-SITE work supporting corporate offices, branches sort centers and a remote/hybrid workforce at locations across the US requiring up to 50% travel. Must be located within an hour of a major airport such as: Philadelphia, PA; Washington, DC, Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Columbus, OH; Chicago, IL; etc.

Compensation

The expected starting base pay range for this position is $125,600 - $157,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $125,600 - $188,400. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, or other incentive compensation in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan of up to a 15% Bonus Target.

The Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, networks, and related systems in a corporate enterprise environment.
• Extensive understanding of industry principles and terminology.
• Knowledge of standard office software and technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy.
• Demonstrated hands on experience with Fortinet Analyzer and Manager, GCP, AWS, Azure, Fortigate, Meraki switching and wifi.

Your Mission In Motion

Extensive travel (up to 50%) to company sites.

• Network infrastructure management: Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Systems, storage & virtualization: Administer and optimize servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms to support reliable and efficient operations.
• Performance monitoring & issue resolution: Monitor system and network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Infrastructure security & compliance: Implement and maintain measures that protect systems and data while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company IT standards.
• Technology projects & migrations: Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations.
• Documentation & advanced technical support: Maintain documentation for network architecture, system configurations, and processes while providing advanced technical support and guidance to IT staff and end users.
