Job summary

LimitlessLi LLC is seeking an experienced Systems and Network Engineer to support clients in the Canton, OH area with 100% onsite work. You will design, implement, and maintain server and network solutions for small to mid-size businesses, keeping security and reliability as priorities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years MSP/multi-tenant experience, strong Microsoft 365 expertise (Entra, Intune), and solid networking skills (firewalls, VPNs, switching).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Systems and Network Engineer experience in MSP or multi-tenant environments.
• Experience managing multiple Windows Servers across client environments.
• Strong Microsoft 365 cloud experience (Entra, Intune).
• Solid networking knowledge: firewalls, VPNs, routing and switching.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with clients to address IT needs and design aligned solutions.
• Architect and implement Microsoft 365 environments; standardize configurations with security frameworks.
• Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure including firewalls and VPNs; ensure security standards.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, performance, and security issues; log and track tickets.
• Use RMM tools to deploy patches; develop scripts and automation for repetitive tasks.
• Maintain documentation of client environments and changes for audits.
• Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians on new technologies and procedures.

Location: Canton, OH / Massillon, OH area (100% Onsite, with local travel to customer sites)

Position Type: Direct Placement (Full-Time)

Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 / year

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Systems & Network Engineer to help our client base elevate their IT systems and cybersecurity infrastructure. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain efficient network and system solutions for small to medium-sized businesses.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, brings strong Managed Service Provider (MSP) expertise, and excels at building positive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Support & Solution Alignment: Interface directly with clients to address IT business needs, collaborating with team members to design solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Microsoft 365 & Cloud Architecture: Architect and implement Microsoft 365 environments, analyze tenant settings, and standardize configurations based on security frameworks.
• Network Design & Security: Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure—including firewalls, switches, and VPNs—ensuring full compliance with security standards.
• Troubleshooting & Service Management: Swiftly diagnose and resolve connectivity, performance, and security issues to minimize downtime. Accurately log, track, and manage support tickets and time entry.
• Remote Management & Automation: Utilize RMM tools to deploy patches, service packs, and firmware updates. Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive operational tasks.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive, accurate documentation of client environments, configurations, network designs, and system changes to support future reference and audits.
• Mentorship: Train and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technical team members on emerging technologies and internal procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Experience & Skills:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Systems and Network Engineer, preferably within an MSP (Managed Service Provider) or multi-tenant environment.
• Systems Management: Proven track record managing multiple Windows Servers across corporate or multi-client environments.
• Cloud Solutions: Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 cloud environments, including setting up cloud-native configurations using Entra and Intune.
• Networking Expertise: Solid understanding of advanced networking principles, firewalls, routing, and switching.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, results-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience configuring Conditional Access policies across multiple client tenants.
