Job summary
The Raleigh Housing Authority is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Finance/Administration team in Raleigh, NC. Qualifications
- Must have strong Windows server and infrastructure administration experience.
- Experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with cybersecurity, backups, DR/BC planning, and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows servers, storage, backups, and core infrastructure systems.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Design, implement, and support infrastructure improvements and modernization projects.
- Support backup systems, restoration testing, and disaster recovery / business continuity planning.
- Perform routine and advanced troubleshooting, patching, and root cause analysis.
- Monitor infrastructure alerts and system health; develop system standards and lifecycle planning.
- Administer switches, firewalls, and VPNs; maintain secure network architecture.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including MFA and identity security controls.
- Mentor junior IT staff and lead technical projects and implementations.
