Job summary

Northrop Grumman in California seeks an Associate Engineer Systems Modeling Simulation or Engineer Systems Modeling Simulation to join the Product Support organization. The role focuses on developing new and integrating existing simulation frameworks, creating performance models, and applying model-based systems engineering to support design, analysis, and verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required for Associate Engineer (T01) or Bachelor’s + 2 years experience for Engineer (T02).
• Master’s degree for T02 or Bachelor’s + 2 years experience.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mathematical models (deterministic and stochastic).
• Integrate mission concept development, LORA, and spares optimization assessments.
• Perform O&S cost analyses and ROI assessments to aid decision making.
• Apply model-based systems engineering to support design, analysis, and verification.
• Communicate results clearly to internal and external customers.
