Lockheed Martin Corporation in Orlando, FL is seeking a Systems & Integration Test Engineering Manager to lead a team of test engineers and oversee integration and testing of in-house and COTS/GOTS components. You will develop test plans and schedules for complete systems and coordinate with Operations and Factories to ensure equipment supports programs.

Required are a STEM degree, 5+ years in Test Engineering, team leadership, and an active Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Test Engineering.
• Experience leading test teams and programs.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Experience with production test equipment is preferred.

We are growing and seeking to hire a Systems & Integration Test Engineering Manager for our Orlando, FL site.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Test Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of test engineers and overseeing the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and/or systems. You will also be responsible for managing the development of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Managing a team of test engineers, including recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and career development
• Partnering with Operations and the Factories to ensure test equipment adequately supports the program
• Direct the execution of Test Equipment Design, Integration, Verfication, and Validation
• Drive test equipment yield improvements
• Develop Basis of Estimates (BOE) and support proposal activity

Manages the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the synthesis of customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Directs the following activities: establishing functional and technical specifications and standards, solving hardware/software interface problems, defining input/output parameters, and ensuring integration of the entire system or subsystem. Manages the development and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years experience as a Manager, Associate Manager, Technical Lead, or Lead Engineer
• 5 years minimum experience working in Test Engineering
• Active Secret Clearance required to be considered.
• Experience supporting test equipment in a production environment

Desired Skills

• Experienced LabVIEW Developer or Architect
• Experience designing ATE and Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) utilizing mass interconnects (Virgina Panel Corp (VPC), MAC Panel)
• Familiarity with NI PXI Products
• Experience with version control (Git) or structured software development practice
• Experience with Agentic Coding for ATE

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
