Job summary

Draper Labs in Cambridge, MA is seeking an integration and test engineer to support lab operations within the Strategic Systems and Electronic Systems business areas.

You will identify and mitigate I&T risks, manage baselines, and mentor engineers while coordinating across programs to optimize lab performance and meet milestones. The role requires a 5–7 year Systems Engineering background and an active US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer/Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• 5–7 years in Systems Engineering or related role.
• Security clearance required (US).

Responsibilities

• Identify program/system-level I&T risks and mitigation strategies.
• Manage priorities, scope, schedule, and cost to baselines.
• Develop and teach best practices to junior engineers.
• Maintain data sources: test cells, manuals, drawings, maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate across programs to maximize lab efficiency and meet milestones.
• Plan for preventative maintenance and capital equipment.
• On-site support 4–5 days per week in Cambridge, MA.
