Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Systems Integration Engineer II to advance tasks in systems integration, requirements analysis, and V&V activities. The role covers software/hardware integration, configuration management, and test plan execution in a collaborative, customer‑centric aerospace setting.

You will deepen knowledge of aerospace and defense standards while solving technical problems and contributing to documentation and integration efforts in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in systems integration or related field.
• Proficiency with integration tools and methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams.
• Understanding of requirements development and management, system design, systems integration, technical risk identification, management strategies, and V&V principles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain United States secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate systems integration tasks with growing proficiency.
• Conduct requirements analysis and management with minimal supervision.
• Lead verification and validation (V&V) activities for specific components or subsystems.
• Manage software and hardware integration tasks independently.
• Support configuration management and ensure proper documentation.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, and solve technical problems independently.
