Sierra Space is seeking a Systems Engineer II to contribute across the product lifecycle, aligning stakeholders and driving integrated system solutions. You will decompose complex requirements, shepherd verification activities, and support end‑to‑end system integration with cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes architecture development, requirements traceability, and risk management to ensure cohesive ground and space vehicle solutions for mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering and lifecycle processes.
• Experience with requirements management and verification planning.
• Ability to lead technical audits and architecture activities.

Responsibilities

• Derive, decompose and manage technical requirements across system levels.
• Develop verification/validation strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Lead requirements reviews, trade studies and audits for compliance.
• Plan and execute hardware/software integration and ICD coordination.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and mission assurance teams.
