Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Systems Engineer II to design and integrate complex space system solutions. You will align cross-functional teams and develop both top-down and bottom-up system requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

You will document operations concepts, support milestone reviews, and actively manage risks to achieve cohesive, compliant system implementations. A strong grasp of SE principles and V&V is required.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Typically 2+ years of related experience.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle concepts.
• Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation.
• Knowledge of systems architecture, integration, and V&V principles.
• Clear verbal and written communication of technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Specify, architect and integrate complex system solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Derive, decompose and manage system requirements and architectures.
• Define and document concepts of operation for systems.
• Support milestone reviews with artifacts and deliverables.
