Job summary

Benchmark is hiring for a full-time assembly role in Huntsville, AL. You will prepare products for system-level assembly, unpack and set up components, and perform final inspections under supervision. The position requires basic SI assembly experience and a high school diploma.

Shift is 1, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves reading documentation, labeling, data entry, and maintaining quality throughout the build process in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of basic SI assembly experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to read/write basic math.
• Discretion and professionalism when representing the company.

Responsibilities

• Accesses paperwork and drawings for each job assignment.
• Verifies kits, enters batch information, and labels items per instructions.
• Checks equipment and uses manufacturing routings and process instructions under supervision.
• Assembles subassemblies and performs hand soldering and inspection as required.
• Mentors coworkers and assists in prototype/pre-production builds.
• Ensures quality and customer satisfaction by following documented procedures.
