Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Fort Meade, Maryland, seeks a Systems Engineer to perform various engineering functions including system design and requirement specifications. Candidates must be US citizens with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph, as well as a degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field. A minimum of seven years of experience in engineering systems lifecycle is required. The salary range for this position is between $175,000 and $275,000 annually.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required:

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph.
• Degree, ABET accredited must be in Engineering or a relevant technical field (for example, computer science, mathematics, or physics).
• Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle (for example, conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning).
• Level 02 - seven (07) years of relevant experience

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform systems engineering functions, including defining and documenting concepts of operations, operational/system requirements, and use cases to support system development, performing high-level system design
• Specify system/component performance and interface requirements
• Developing installation, integration, and acceptance test plans
• Continuously assess existing organizational processes and work products to ensure they best facilitate strategic and tactical efforts.
• Coordinate with customers, project teams, and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements.
• Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by the product teams.

$175,000 - $275,000 a year
