Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado is seeking a System Architect to develop MBSE products, derive requirements, and support interface definition for CONOPs development across multiple disciplines. This role emphasizes traceability, performance parameter assessments, and design review readiness in a fast-paced, secure setting.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required, and US citizenship is mandatory for national security work.

Qualifications

• Experience in system architecture to create/define new system within a program.
• Proficient in MBSE (SysML and DoDAF).
• Experience in systems engineering, developing requirements, verifications, and validations.
• Experience in performing trade studies.
• Knowledge of risk and opportunity processes.

The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience working as a System Architecture, specifically in the areas of ceating, developing, or defining a new system within a program
• Proficient in MBSE (SysML and DODAF)
• Experience systems engineering, developing requirements, verifications, and validations.
• Experience in performing trade studies
• Working knowledge or experience within the risk and Opportunity processExperience working or collaborating across two or more engineering disciplines (software, avionics, mechanical, RF, electrical, etc.)
• Active or Current Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a SCI, thus US Citizenship is required.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
