Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 2 in McClellan, CA. The role is onsite within the Cyber and Intelligence Solutions Business Unit, leading a team of technical leaders and driving program execution with strong people leadership.

You will work across engineering disciplines, manage baselines and budgets, and mentor talent while traveling up to 25%. Primary salary range is $146,600 to $219,800 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering with 8+ years of experience.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years.
• Previous leadership or management experience.
• Experience in SIGINT, Cyber, Non-Kinetic, Cryptography.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support C&IS program(s) and provide people leadership for E100 roles.
• Provide technical scope as SEIT/EPM/IPT/Architect in captures.
• Ensure planning, baselining, cost/schedule management, metrics, and issue resolution.
• Develop technical leaders to ensure business success.
• Oversee administration: budgets, staffing, workload forecasts.
• Collaborate with leaders on resourcing and cross-team practices.
• Travel up to 25%.
