Job summary

Raytheon in Huntsville, AL seeks students and professionals to support aerospace engineering activities. You will assist with integration, test, modeling, simulation, and data analysis while documenting results for internal and external stakeholders.

Onsite role in Huntsville requiring US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Training will prepare you for Systems Integration & Test across the product lifecycle, with travel between facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience troubleshooting technical software or hardware issues, creating analysis tools and/or automating data sets.
• Experience scripting using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming languages.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

• After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Integration & Test activities across the product development lifecycle

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session

• Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems, and Shell scripting and with integrating software with hardware/electronics
• Experience in developing and evaluating hardware and test requirements
• Experience with creating test procedures, test scripts, and maintaining configuration control documentation

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
