Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ invites interns, co-ops and new graduates to join the Electrical Engineering Directorate on-site. You will contribute to troubleshooting hardware, support production and testing, perform root-cause analysis and present solutions with engineering drawings.

The role seeks students pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field with at least 60 credit hours by start, and experience in RF, analog, digital or mixed-signal design.

Qualifications

At Raytheon, the Electrical Engineering Directorate is responsible for the design, test, manufacture, and support of advanced electrical subsystems (target detection, target tracking, guidance, navigation, signal processing, and communication) to be utilized in extreme battle-field environments.

A candidate with interests, studies, research, or experiences which are technically broad will be a possible fit in our electrical subsystems group. All Candidates will work within a larger team at Raytheon. Interns perform meaningful engineering tasks for their assigned projects but will also have access to a variety of career development opportunities. These include access to technical mentors and the ability to "shadow" experienced professionals to better learn about real industry positions.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
