In Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. Our Integrated Systems Team seeks interns to support integration and test of hardware and software of complex air defense systems. Our team provides system engineering, integration, and test expertise to the radar, missile, and ground system programs within Raytheon. In this role you will perform various engineering activities depending on your experience and skill level, such as system test requirements development, planning, execution, and analysis for system integration and verification in hardware-in-the-loop facilities, flight tests, and sell-off of production systems; technical support on-site and as reach-back for deployed sensor systems; and modeling and simulation. This position is an onsite role located in Andover or Tewksbury, MA. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Responsibilities include supporting the test and evaluations of our products including but not limited to:
Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session. Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session. Experience with troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, or as part of a hobby Experience in data analysis using tools such as MATLAB Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
