Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist engineers on assignments, perform basic testing under supervision, and gather data to support design analysis. You will learn company practices while contributing to ongoing projects and research tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and current progress toward an engineering degree, plus U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Engineering student with some progress towards an engineering degree.

• Diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with and assist engineers on various engineering assignments.
• Carry out basic work instructions to understand the fundamentals of the Company and learn new things.
• Conduct limited-scope testing under engineers' supervision.
• Complete assigned tasks on time.
• Gather and assemble data for engineers.

• Perform varied tasks to gain familiarity with engineering staff, methods, programs, and practices.
