Job summary

bioMérieux in Missouri is seeking a System Engineering Co-op to support the Systems Engineering team in instrumentation research, design, development and testing for in-vitro diagnostic devices.

The role includes collaboration with senior engineers, participation in verification activities, and exposure to BioMérieux design controls and quality standards. The assignment spans 8–12 months with potential bonus opportunities as part of the rewards package.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a BS or MS program in a related engineering field and completed 1 year.
• Must be actively enrolled in a formal co-op program at a participating university.
• Must be enrolled in a co-op program at WashU or Mizzou.

Responsibilities

• Assist in verification testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and evaluating instrument issues.
• Learn design controls and regulatory requirements relevant to US and international markets.
• Follow quality procedures and standards; perform other duties as assigned.
