Job summary

BioMérieux is seeking a System Engineering Co‑op in Missouri. You will work with the Systems Engineering team on development, testing, and verification of medical instrumentation for in‑vitro diagnostics.

You will learn BioMérieux Design Control and quality procedures while collaborating with fellow engineers and mentors, including the Director and Senior engineers. The 8–12 month assignment offers project exposure and formal co‑op credit.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in BS or MS program in Systems, Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering.
• Must be in a participating university's formal Co‑op program to receive credit.
• Enrollment in WashU or Mizzou co‑op required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Systems Engineering in medical instrumentation research, design, development, and testing.
• Create and execute verification tests; troubleshoot and evaluate instrument issues.
• Learn and follow BioMérieux Design Control process for US and international requirements.
• Ensure work complies with quality procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with team members across system development.
