bioMerieux Inc. is seeking a System Engineering Co-op to support the Systems Engineering team in design, test, and verification activities for in-vitro diagnostic instruments used in microbiology labs.

You will work under mentors, gain exposure to design controls and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with system development leaders to address instrument issues and potential design improvements.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BS or MS program in related engineering field.
• Must be actively enrolled in a formal co-op program at a participating university.
• Must be enrolled in co-op at a named university (WashU or Mizzou).

Responsibilities

• Support Systems Engineering team in verification and testing of medical devices.
• Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and evaluating instrument issues.
• Learn bioMerieux Design Control processes and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to quality procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
