Job summary

Nova Biomedical is seeking a Systems Engineering Co-op in our Waltham, MA facility. You will support the Mechanical and Test engineering teams, assisting in developing and executing Engineering Test Protocols and contributing to design or assembly work as needed.

Reporting to the Test Supervisor, you will analyze data, write test reports, troubleshoot analyzers, and help build test fixtures. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, documentation, and collaboration in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Good written communication skills.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand tools.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
• Experience in SolidWorks is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of Engineering Test Protocols to support the engineering teams.
• Execute Engineering and Software Test Protocols using Nova Biomedical analyzers or other lab test equipment.
• Analyze data and write Engineering Test Reports.
• Assist in troubleshooting of analyzers during the execution of test protocols.
• Build devices or test fixtures to support the Engineering team.
• Write Engineering Change Orders or Manufacturing Variances.
• Design test fixtures or jigs to support development.
• Other duties as assigned.
