Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Technician – Engineering Aide in Chandler, AZ. The role supports the Systems Engineering team with meetings, design reviews, documentation, and cross‑team coordination.

The position is 100% on site; candidates must have U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance, with a background in engineering or project support and strong note‑taking skills.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education/related experience.
• Experience in an engineering/technical/project-support environment.
• Demonstrated ability to take detailed meeting notes and capture technical items clearly.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic familiarity with shared repositories.

Responsibilities

• Support technical meetings and design reviews, tracking attendance and outcomes.
• Capture decisions, actions, and follow-up items; maintain logs.
• Prepare and distribute review materials and ensure version control.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineering, Hardware, Software, and Program Management teams.
• Help standardize templates and documentation for reviews and artifacts.
