Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks an Associate Systems Engineer (T01) or Systems Engineer (T02) for the Sentinel Payloads Modeling, Simulation and Analysis team in Roy, Utah. Responsibilities include developing payload models, validating models with tests, and generating threat models for missile system payloads.

US citizenship with active Secret clearance is required. Supervisory and team collaboration skills are essential, with a focus on system integration, verification, and validation

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university.
• Experience with modeling physical systems using coding languages (Python, Matlab, C++, etc.).
• Experience or coursework related to electromagnetic radiation and kinematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop Payload models to simulate and evaluate hardware performance.
• Perform model validation of Payloads through test and analysis.
• Generate and analyze radar and optical signatures of payload objects.
• Present analysis results to stakeholders.
