Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a DoD customer from Dallas, Texas. The role involves planning, development support, integration, testing, and verification to ensure requirements are met.

You will collaborate with government and vendor teams, apply systems engineering principles to evaluate SOWs/CDRLs, and provide technical assessments of designs to meet system requirements. A TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BS with 8–12 years of relevant experience or Masters with 6–10 years of experience.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks to ensure contract execution.
• Strong technical, verbal, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates technical solutions with internal experts.
• Communicate with internal and external partners.
• Apply Systems Engineering principles and concepts of the technical domain.
• Support evaluation of documentation such as SOW and CDRL.
• Support evaluation of contract proposals for technical feasibility.
• Support customer during integration and implementation efforts.
• Provide engineering support during systems development, integration, and testing.
• Assess technical, cost, and schedule performance against requirements in areas such as RADAR, signal processing, and software.
• Analyze developer documentation for technical accuracy and contractual compliance.
• Participate in technical and programmatic meetings as required.
• Assist in assessments to ensure design adequacy and operational certification.
