Job summary

Leidos in Dallas is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a DoD customer from Dallas, TX. The role includes technical planning, integration, testing, and evaluation of requirements with internal and external partners.

Active TS clearance is required. You will analyze SOW/CDRL, support contract feasibility, and advise on program performance across RADAR, signal processing, and software domains.

Qualifications

• BS and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks to ensure contract execution
• Strong technical, verbal, and writing skills
• Experience in software development

Responsibilities

• Evaluates technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts
• Communicate with internal and with external partners
• Apply Systems Engineering principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain
• Provide technical support to evaluate documentation such as SOW, CDRL etc.
• Provide support in the evaluation of contract proposals for technical feasibility
• Provide technical support to the customer during integration and implementation efforts
• Provide engineering support to the customer during systems development, integration, testing activities
• Provide engineering support for assessment of technical, cost, and schedule performance against requirements in areas such as RADAR, signal processing, software
• Provide technical analyses of design documentation for technical accuracy and contractual compliance
• Participate in technical and programmatic meetings when required
• Assist in technical assessments on designs to ensure requirements and certification
