Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado Highlands Ranch is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the SDA portfolio activities, oversee system/subsystem specs, and drive integration across teams.

You will develop electrical compatibility analyses, manage ICDs and EIDPs, support test planning, and contribute to mission-critical space programs with MBSE, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, or related field.
• Active Secret clearance to start; ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• 5 years spacecraft or ground system architecture experience.
• Experience with system integration, testing, and verification.

Come join Lockheed Martin’s engineering team supporting the Space Development Agency’s portfolio at Lockheed Martin Space. These critical systems provide missile warning, missile tracking, missile defense, and communications capabilities. Standard Job Description :-

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in an Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related subject area, or equivalent experienc
• Experience with one or more Systems Engineering functions including:
• System trade studies, CONOPS, and/or System modeling
• Requirements, Interface Control Document (ICD), or Interface Definition Document (IDD) development
• System Integration, Fault Management, Test and/or Verification
• Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
• 5 years experience with spacecraft or ground system architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space, missile and launch systems at the component through system level.
• Active and current Secret clearance to start and ability to Obtain TS/SCI. Thus US Citizenship is required

Desired Skills

• 8+ years experience with spacecraft or ground system architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space, missile and launch systems at the component through system level
• Ability to communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals
• Experience in the development CONOPS, Operator Handbooks, or other Systems Engineering Documentation
• Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (Cameo, Rhapsody, etc)
• Experience with a Fault Management and Respose
• Experience with Agile workflows and software (Jira, GitLab)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team member
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
