Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking engineers with systems engineering expertise for space programs. The role centers on technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and translating customer needs into hardware and software solutions across the full lifecycle.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in engineering or related field (or an Associate with 3+ years), have experience with Agile practices (Jira/Confluence), and possess TS/SCI with Poly

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or related field, or Associate degree with 3+ years relative experience.
• Knowledge of the full systems engineering life cycle.
• Experience with test planning and execution with an understanding of interdependencies.
• Experience in developing and execution of test procedures.
• Support and generate products for a formal system design review.
• Experience working or collaborating across two or more engineering disciplines.
• Experience with Agile (Jira and Confluence).
• Active or current TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Poly.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensures the conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition to translate requirements to hardware and software specs.

• Experience systems engineering, developing requirements, verifications, and validations.
• Understanding of Aerospace technologies, Orbital Dynamics, etc.
• Analyze and resolve complex mission problems
• Understanding of Engineering tools (i.e. Matlab)
• Understanding of Software Programing Languages (i.e. Python)
• Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
• Software Scripting
• Experience in defining system development testing
• Active or current TS/SCI security clearance with Poly.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00
