Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Aurora, CO is seeking a Systems Engineer at Level 3 or 4 to own the system baseline and coordinate cross-discipline teams. You will drive requirements development with customers, develop integration strategies, and support proposals for new business.

This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and experience with MBSE and modeling tools. The successful candidate will work across systems, software, hardware, test, and operations, translating mission threads

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s/PhD with adjusted years.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application.
Experience with system requirements and ICDs; ability to analyze and trace requirements.

Responsibilities

Systems Engineering focal point for the program across multiple phases of the program lifecycle.
Ownership of the system technical baseline, ensuring consistency between CONOPS, requirements, design, and test.
Perform across multi-disciplined teams to resolve issues and drive decisions.
Capture mission threads, user workflows, and operational constraints and flow them into requirements and design.
Lead requirements development with customers and stakeholders; clarify and negotiate technical needs and constraints.
Develop integration strategies, V&V plans, and detailed test plans and procedures.
