Job summary

Aquent Talent is seeking a senior software engineer to own complex secure authentication features and enterprise middleware efforts. You will shape modern authentication journeys, including passwordless and risk-based access, while guiding a team of engineers in a demanding security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience developing secure web applications and building/rest APIs.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Gateway, and service-based architectures.
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Karma, Cucumber, BDD).
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, code quality tooling, and secure engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of complex application components and secure authentication capabilities.
• Collaborate with product owners, SCRUM masters, architects, and engineers to plan and deliver features.
• Develop and integrate robust REST APIs and reusable services following architectural standards.
• Lead testing, CI/CD, and observability efforts for reliable deployments.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote AI-assisted development practices.
