Job summary

Aerodyne Industries is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Orion Portable Crew Device project in Houston. You will provide systems engineering for integrating the PCD system with HLS, coordinate with NASA offices, and help manage schedules, requirements, and verification data across multiple teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering with 5–10 years of experience in systems engineering, SE&I, and model-based methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5-10 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of SE&I processes and model-based systems engineering.
• On-site in Houston with limited telework as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering services to support integration of the Orion PCD System with the HLS project office and vendors.
• Develop and support sub-project requirements and verification data packages for architecture, design, verification/validation, and operations.
• Lead system requirements reviews, preliminary design reviews, and critical design reviews; participate in Orion Con-Ops development.
• Coordinate with NASA programs, ground testing, and flight operations testing; manage risk and present progress to customers.
