Job summary

Amentum is seeking a mid-level systems engineer to provide dedicated engineering support to the PMX-311 team in Arlington, Virginia. The role supports the RAM and CIWS weapon systems through development, integration, test, and qualification activities.

Responsibilities include MBSE integration, safety/E3 analysis, requirements management, and coordination with cross-functional groups to meet program objectives. Active clearance and DoD experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM required or related field with DoD/DoW experience.
• Experience in system engineering for military weapon programs is needed.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support for design, development and in-service activities.
• Contribute to safety and electromagnetic environment analyses (E3).
• Support cross-functional planning, scheduling and funding needs.
• Draft statements of work and funding requirements for PMX-311.
• Prepare briefing materials for reviews and TIMs.
