Job summary

Amentum is seeking a junior-level systems engineer in Arlington, VA to support the PMX-311 Terminal Defense systems. You will coordinate engineering activities, support digital data management, and provide cross-functional inputs for program objectives.

Requirements include a STEM bachelor’s degree and 1–4 years of DoD/DoW experience, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Travel is <10%. Salary range listed: $67,500–$97,500.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 1–4 years of engineering experience with DoD/DoW weapons programs preferred.
• Proficient in MS Suite and strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support for design, development, production, and in-service activities.
• Assist in digital transformation through management of engineering data.
• Provide cross-functional support to PMX-311 Production, In-service Contracting and Financial groups.
