Job summary

Torch Technologies, headquartered in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Systems Engineer Journeyman to support BaS&E and LOGMOD teams. The role requires effective IT acquisition, system engineering, and compliance with AF/DoD directives. Onsite at Maxwell AFB, AL with potential travel.

U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are mandatory. Preferred skills include AWS, Atlassian tools, and agile development practices.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field with DoD experience, or seven years of related experience with proper certifications.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, describe, and apply emerging IT acquisition strategies and performance measures.
• Conduct program portfolio reviews to evaluate plans and improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation and management reports for planning and action.
• Provide Agile and Digital system/program engineering support and training.
