Job summary

nou Systems is seeking an Intermediate Systems Engineer to support IT Infrastructure & Applications within the TN SEA team, located in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO. Role focuses on front-end systems engineering, requirements, and modernization across DoD programs.

The position requires a Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a strong background in IT infrastructure and data-center modernization. Work involves coordinating with cybersecurity, engineering, and program management teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a STEM field.
• 7+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project.
• Active Secret clearance and eligible for TS/SCI.
• U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, develop, and manage requirements for enterprise IT modernization initiatives.
• Baseline current-state environment through portfolio analysis and inventory.
• Develop target-state architectures and documentation including diagrams and data flows.
• Conduct Analyses of Alternatives and trade studies for legacy systems.
• Support planning of data center consolidation and workload migration activities.
• Apply V‑models processes across the lifecycle with traceability.
• Author and review technical documentation and briefings for leadership.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications, and PM stakeholders.
