Job summary

Avalore is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide support across the full IT systems life cycle, including implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance. The role requires interaction with Government stakeholders and ensuring technical integrity of deliverables in ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's in engineering or related field plus systems engineering experience, or equivalent substitutions, and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus one year of systems engineering experience.
• Twelve credit hours in ISO/IEC 15288 Technical Process Areas may substitute for the required one year of systems engineering experience OR
• A High School Diploma or GED and four years of general system engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems across the life cycle.
• Interacts with Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and related issues.
• Communicates with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsible for technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables in ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
